Mother Moon, Maiden Moon, Crone Moon

mother moon stares at the ground, her face full of light
her eyes calm, in the incessant night
lonely and clad in her cloak of shadows
mother moon stares at the ground

maiden moon, her face small and slight
her eyes bright, are dancing in light
happy and clad in her cloak of night blue
maiden moon, her face small and slight

crone moon, wise in her great age
her eyes dim, though bright, though calm
clad in her star studded night blue hooded cloak
crone moon wise in her great age

mother moon, maiden moon, crone moon
may their reign’s  never end
may their faces ever be shown
may we learn of them
mother moon, maiden moon, crone moon.
