Paper Man

Where have you been all these years?
The trials - tribulations and tears
Milling about your everyday life -
Papers, business and strife-

Did you honestly think you could live?
Did you never even try to give?
Sussing out your imaginary world-
-till the very root of dimension swirled.

Have you any idea the damage you've done?
Did you never consider the lengths we've gone?
You are from my very mind-
You therefore are my blood and kind-

You were never more than a fleeting thought,
By grace of ink - your existence brought,
Now it is time to say goodbye -
For even paper-men must die.
