to my father

My English Poems
to my father

I can’t undo the things I’ve done
to you long time ago
all those angry words I’ve said
they weren’t meant for you

I know now that you didn’t want
to tell me how to run my life
you meant to spare me the mistakes
I made then otherwise

it was not written in those books
that stood there on my shelves
how to avoid the hurt I’ve done
to you and to myself

even though I can’t imagine
all the things you’ve gone through then
what' s left to say is I love you
I wont hurt you again
