As in the Midst of Midday Field
If she were love and loveliness
Earth a teary star around
Would be in pageantry green there
A stain upon lonely ground.
Hands newly in summer time held
And marked water dipped toes;
In richest heart what love yield?
Sonnets of sweetest rose.
Earth a teary star around
Would be in pageantry green there
A stain upon lonely ground.
Hands newly in summer time held
And marked water dipped toes;
In richest heart what love yield?
Sonnets of sweetest rose.
