Friendship Fades Away
Friendship.
A single word, yet so many different meanings
Like fog, it drifts away leaving only wisps of memories
Two friends with a bond once thought unbreakable,
Begin to drift apart,
Traveling different paths reluctantly,
Faces once full with happiness and hope,
Now fill with dread and hope,
Floating apart unwillingly, destiny does its dance
They know when the bond has broken,
They don't see each other, don't talk or write
Its not like they've forgotten each other,
There were too many memorable occasions for that,
The bond has broken, never to be reformed
Because an unspoken realization tell them the truth,
Friendship fades away.
Friendship.
A single word, yet so many different meanings
Like fog, it drifts away leaving only wisps of memories
Two friends with a bond once thought unbreakable,
Begin to drift apart,
Traveling different paths reluctantly,
Faces once full with happiness and hope,
Now fill with dread and hope,
Floating apart unwillingly, destiny does its dance
They know when the bond has broken,
They don't see each other, don't talk or write
Its not like they've forgotten each other,
There were too many memorable occasions for that,
The bond has broken, never to be reformed
Because an unspoken realization tell them the truth,
Friendship fades away.
